Today I wanted to share with you a few drugstore dupes for high-end make-up products from a few YouTubers’ recommendations. The YouTubers include: Sylvia Gani, Jessica Braun, Juicyyyyjas, Shaaanxo, Leyla Rose, Thatsheart, Christen Dominiuque, Jamie Page.

These dupes are mostly selected based on how they look on the face, but are not equivalent in terms of formula, application or ingredients. This is a long post so I organized products by makeup categories. You can directly go to the category that you are most interested in below. If you like this kind of posts, let me know in comments 🙂

  • Anastasia Brow Wiz

So many YouTubers talked about dupes for the Brow Wiz. I guess it’s requested by a lot of people as the Brow Wiz is quite expensive given how fast you will go through one.

  • NYX Microbrow pencil
  • Loreal Brow Stylist Definer
  • Rimmel London Brow Pencil
  • Soap & Glory Brow Archery (this is new to me)

Eye primer:

  • Urban Decay Eye Primer Original Potion

Dupes: Elf eyeshadow primer

  • MAC paint pot

Dupe: NYX eyeshadow base skin tone (this is quite nice)

Face primer:

  • Benefit porefessional

Dupe: Loreal magic perfecting base primer

  • Hourglass veil mineral primer

Dupe: Elf poreless primer

Face powder:

  • Laura Mercier secret brightening powder (heard this is great for the under eye area)

Dupe: Sonia Kashuk Brightening Powder

  • Makeup Forever HD powder

Dupe: ELF HD powder (this one is supposed to be really good)

This category of dupes seems to be dominated by Maybelline. They probably make the best drugstore concealers. It also seems that the same concealer performs and feels differently to different people so they found different dupes for the same high-end products.

  • Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer

Dupes: Maybelline better skin concealer

Maybelline face studio master concealer

  • IT cosmetics bye bye under eye

Dupe: Wet n’ Wild come correct celebrity concealer

  • Nars radiant creamy concealer

Dupes: Loreal Time Match concealer

Maybelline age rewind concealer (I don’t like this one. It’s too dry and looks patchy.)

Maybelline fit me concealer (this one is quite nice)

  • Too Faced born this way concealer

Dupe: Maybelline fit me concealer

  • Mac Prolongwear concealer

Dupe: NYX HD concealer

Makeup Setting Spray

  • MAC Fix+

Dupes: Pixi setting mist

NYX matte finish makeup setting spray

NYX long lasting makeup setting spray

  • Urban Decay all nighter setting spray

Dupe: Loreal Makeup Extender

  • Urban Decay Chill makeup setting spray

Dupe: NYX Dewy Finish setting spray

  • Benefit Dandelion (one of my all-time favorite blushes)

Dupe: Loreal True Match blendable blossom baby blush (it does look quite similar colorwise, although not completely the same)

Covergirl cheekers blush 110 classic pink

Maybelline fit me blush 104 light pink

  •  Benefit coralista blush

Dupe: Milani Luminoso blush (this is pretty)

  •  MAC full of joy blush (purple pink)

Dupe: Makeup Geek Secret Admirer  (I actually like the color of the dupe better, slightly more muted and more natural than the MAC one)

  • D&G rose bud blush (D&G’s whole makeup line will be discontinued and reformulated, they have beautiful blushes)

Dupe: NYX blush in the shade Apricot (pretty color)

  • Nars Orgasm blush

Dupe: Wet n’ Wild color icon blush in pearlescent pink (they do look very similar and this one also lasts all day on the face. $2.99. You can’t go wrong with this one)

Bronzer & Face Palettes:

  • Anastasia contour palette

Dupe: Makeup Revolution contour palette ($15)

  • Benefit Hoola Bronzer

Dupe: NYC smooth skin bronzer powder ($3.62)

  • Nars Laguna Bronzer

Dupe: ELF blush/bronzing powder duo: Turks & Caicos

  • Too faced milk chocolate soleil bronzer

Dupe: Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer Light (I love this bronzer too. $14.99)

  • Becca Jacklyn Hill face palette

Dupe: City color timeless beauty face palette (it seems to be an intentional dupe from the beginning from color, set-up and packaging. As I’ve never heard of it before, I found a post that reviews and swatches the palette here. The color selection is pretty but I’m not sure how it actually performs).

This is a category that I’m not sold on. High-end highlighters perform quite differently on the face even though they might swatch similarly on the back of your hand due to the texture of the powder. I wouldn’t save money in this category although I also found a few quite nice drugstore highlighters which I will write about later.

  • Chanel illuminating powder

Dupe: ELF pinktastic baked blush (looks more like a highlighter than a blush but I doubt it performs the same as the Chanel powder)

  • Becca moonstone highlighter

Dupe: Colourpop lunch money highlighter (they look similar but they are not dupes in my opinion. The Becca one feels and looks more luxury and of better quality. I wouldn’t buy the Colourpop one if you wanted to get the same results from the Becca Moonstone).

I’m surprised that the Wet n’ Wild palette made the list several times and it seems to be a limited edition palette too?

  • Urban Decay Naked 3

Dupe: Wet n’ Wild AuNatural palette Nude Awakening ($6.99)

  • Too faced chocolate bar eyeshadow palette

Dupes: Wet n’ Wild AuNatural palette Nude Awakening ($6.99, and again?)

  • Urban Decay naked 1, 2, 3

Dupes: Makeup Revolution Iconic eyeshadow 1,2,3

  • Too faced semi-sweet eyeshadow palette

Dupe: Makeup revolution salted caramel ($14.39. This looks like an exact dupe. Here is a quick review.)

  • Urban Decay Naked

NYC New York Color Lovatics By Demi Eye Shadow Kit Compact ($4.92. This is a very close dupe in terms of color selection)

Covergirl Trunaked Eyeshadow palette (one of my favorite YouTubers Rachhloves talked about this dupe. $9.99)

Maybelline the blushed Nudes palette ($8.99)

  • MAC pigment in the shade Tan

Dupe: Loreal infallible eyeshadow amber rush (they look almost exactly the same and this is just a a very beautiful eyeshadow regardless of whether it’s a dupe or not. You should check it out. It only costs $6.99 at Target but could cost $12+ at CVS, etc.)

  • Anastasia Modern Renaissance eyeshadow palette

Dupe: NYX ultimate eyeshadow palette in warm neutrals

There are probably thousands of dupes out there but how lip products feel on the lips can vary so much even within the same line by one brand, so I only included 3 pairs of nude-ish color dupes below.

  • Kylie matte liquid lipstick koko K & candy K

Dupe: Maybelline vivid matte in Nude Thrill ($7.99)

  • Kylie matte liquid lipstick in Exposed

Dupe: Revlon ultra HD Matte in Deduction ($7.99)

  • Tom Ford Blush Nude Lipstick

Dupe: Rimmel London Kate Nude Lipstick (4.97)

  • Benefit Roller Lash Mascara

Dupe: Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara

  • Benefit They’re Real Mascara

Dupe: Maybelline Falsies Volume Express mascara (I’m not sure about this one as the Benefit They’are Real is a great lenthening mascara that doesn’t clump and Maybelline mascara can be quite clumpy and wet.)

That’s it for the dupes I’m wrapping up this time. If you’ve made it this far, why not like this post or follow me? No pressure and thanks for stopping by 😀
